Putting 'Christian' On The Front Is No Guarantee
Have you ever had the experience of using a business which was advertised as a 'Christian' whatever and you have found that they may have been fine Christians but they were not very good at the whatever? When we started our independent financial advice business over 21 years ago, a highly respected Church leader said "I hope you are not going to make a big play of being a Christian business and only employing Christian advisers and staff ". He explained that what was needed was to show that Christian principles could be applied in the world of business and that this would not be achieved by only looking for Christian clients, Christian advisers and Christian staff.
Throughout its history Arch Financial Planning Limited has not sought to promote itself in an overtly Christian way. This is because we have always felt that we would rather serve the public as a whole rather than just the Christian community. We do have many Christian clients and they seem to appreciate the mix of Christian and non Christian advisers and staff who they deal with over the years. They know that the company is controlled by a Christian family and that the processes and procedures that we use in dealing with them have been formed against a background of Christian principles.
If you would like to have a no-obligation discussion with a Christian adviser please contact us on enquiries@arch-fp.co.uk or telephone 01483 204600 (if local) or 0845 3700 660 (local call charge only) and ask for Sarah Bond.

Arthur Childs
Are you looking for a Christian IFA (Independent Financial Adviser) or financial planner? Arch Financial Planning Limited is an independent financial adviser and financial planning company where the majority shareholding is held by active Christians.
The managing director of Arch Financial Planning Limited, Arthur Childs, is an active member of Guildford Baptist Church (known as Millmead). Although running a successful IFA practice is a full time job, Arthur has spent the last fourteen years leading the NewFocus group which is a ministry of Millmead to retired and semi retired people. Sensing, in the spring of 2011, that it was time to pass over the leadership of NewFocus to others, Arthur gave up his leadership role in July of that year and has taken on the new created and much less active role of President of NewFocus.
Arch Financial Planning offers a professional financial planning service (lead by a Certified and Chartered Financial Planner) using a whole of market approach but with an understanding that the financial goals of Christians can be different from the norm.

Where Next For The Economy?
We have produced a précis of the economic outlook which was expounded by Stephanie Flanders, the BBC's Economic Editor, at the New Model Adviser Conference and Awards which took place in the Lancaster London Hotel on 12th and 13th January.
Stephanie said that this has been an unusual recession and gave examples such as the fact that we have not seen the level of corporate failures as in past recessions.
Stephanie also dealt with what we should look out for in 2012 and what is happening to the Euro.
For a copy of our précis of her speech please refer to the Arch Blog.

The
Outlook is More Encouraging From Kazakhstan!
If, as investors, we could get a better grip of
what is happening in places like Kazakhstan and the way that the needs
and desires of peoples like the Kazakhs will drive the world’s economy,
we would stop leaving quite so much money in deposit accounts where it
is of little use to anyone. Instead we would invest in companies
both here and abroad which can take advantage of the great global advancement in places which, until now, we might have found difficulty in
finding them easily on a map.

this please refer to the Arch
Blog. |
